Cowessess believes in community inclusion and education. On November 13, 2019 we hosted the second annual Community Energy Education Day.  The day involved solar, wind and construction safety experts coming together to provide interactive learning sessions for the Grade 7 – 12 students.  Relay Education facilitated a Solar Car Building workshop and the kids were able to compete for the best solar car design.

We rounded out the day with a shared meal and evening presentation to over sixty community members on the upcoming 10 MW Awasis Solar project.  In addition, SaskPower was present to provide home energy saving information and every family in attendance went home with an energy savings kit provided by Awasis Solar.
